A Saddleback (Adult male with a grey patch on his back) Nilgiri Tahr (Nilgiritragus hylocrius) at Rajamala, Iravikulam National Park.
It is an ungulate endemic to the southern part of the Western Ghats, especially Nilgiris and hence the name. Nilgiri Tahr is the state animal of Tamil Nadu.
