Stepping stone

A small step for River Tern, but a giant leap for Bird-kind!

House Crow


The most common bird of the Indian landscape, but also the least photographed. This Grey-neck (House Crow, Corvus splendens) was photographed at Ranganathittoo.

River Tern

This bird is called Indian River Tern or just River Tern (Sterna aurantia). Here it is seen guarding its eggs against intruders in this picture taken at Ranganathittoo.
