Flying Jewels of GCK

Here are some of my clicks from the campus of Government College Kodanchery, Kozhikode where I happen to work! All these pictures were shot with a Nokia N73 Music Edition mobile phone's 3.2 mega pixel camera. Excuse the flaws!

1. Common Emigrant or Lemon Emigrant (Catopsilia pomona)

2. Common Pierrot (Castalius rosimon)

3. Large Grass Yellow or Common Grass Yellow (Eurema hecabe)

I have bought a new DSLR kit comprising of Nikon D80 body, 18-55 lens, 70-300 AF lens, MB-D80 Battery grip etc.

Hope to learn with it and post pictures soon!

No photoshop, just a bit of enhancement regarding brightness, contrast and saturation. Can't be called much of an editing! N73 camera is superb for Macro-photography,i.e., for photographing things at close distances.

Thats why I am a fan of N73, Aneesa! Keep it steady and focus well, you get amazing sharpnessand clarity. Megapixels are nothing.
